My Approach

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to health and wellness. With every client, I  start with a detailed initial comprehensive assessment focused on health history, current symptoms and lifestyle patterns. My whole-body approach focuses on nutritional education and lifestyle factors like sleep hygiene, stress management, movement, toxin reduction and mindset. It all matters!

All recommendations are tailored to individualized health goals, needs and preferences. Together, we build upon and shift wellness plans as needed, recognizing that health is not always linear. I’m committed to helping every client find the best approach to reaching their goals, and making that process enjoyable and attainable along the way.

About Me

Amelia is an Occupational Therapist and Health Coach based in Nashville, TN. She moved to Nashville in 2009 to pursue her education at Belmont University. She studied Psychology and Nutrition as an undergraduate and graduated from Belmont’s doctoral program in Occupational Therapy. Since 2013, Amelia has worked in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings as an Occupational Therapist (OTD). She continues to practice at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in the acute care setting.

Amelia has always been interested in integrative health and nutrition. Through her clinical practice, she has served patients with all kinds of conditions - heart disease, stroke, autoimmune disease, neurological disorders, etc. Seeing first-hand the suffering that comes with chronic, lifestyle-driven conditions further inspired Amelia to pursue ongoing education and training in functional nutrition, health coaching, and preventative health. She is certified as a Functional Nutrition Health Coach and AIP Certified Coach. She loves learning and is always diving into the newest health-related book, podcast, or course. She is currently pursuing additional certification through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

In 2021, Amelia started her own health coaching practice where she works to provide clients with the knowledge, accountability, and support they need to create healthy, sustainable lifestyles. Her process blends modern science with realistic and compassionate advice, customized to each individual. She currently sees clients both privately and at Mindstream Integrative Medicine.
